Yoga Foundation Course: 6 Weeks
Develop a yoga practice with safety and confidence. During the 6-week course you will be introduced to the basic yoga asana (poses). Each week there will be a slightly different focus cultivating breath awareness, strength, flexibility and deep relaxation. Student numbers are limited to provide the very best care and attention whilst preparing the student to continue attending classes offered on our weekly time table.
Handouts are given during weeks 1 – 5 covering the class focus. Booking and payment are essential and available online from our Login tab.
Foundation Course Policy: Make up classes can be done during the period of your course or within 1 week after completion by attending any of our weekly classes offered at the studio.
No casual attendance is permitted during this course.
Restorative Yoga Class
Restorative yoga is a delicious way to relax and soothe frayed nerves. With the use of bolsters, blankets, and blocks students can release and let go into the support these offer, so the body can experience the benefits of a pose without having to exert any effort.
A restorative class is more rejuvenating than a nap and held approximately 4 times per year on a Friday night or weekend afternoon, when just about everyone could use some profound rest.
