Courses and Workshops

Yoga Foundation Course: 6 Weeks: Fee $110

Develop a yoga practice with safety and confidence.  During the 6-week course you will be introduced to the basic yoga asana (poses).  Each week there will be a slightly different focus cultivating breath awareness, strength, flexibility and deep relaxation.  Student numbers are limited to provide the very best care and attention whilst preparing the student to continue attending classes offered on our weekly time table.
Handouts are given during weeks 1 – 5 covering the class focus.  Booking and payment are essential and available online from our Login tab.
Foundation Course Policy: Make up classes can be done during the period of your course or within 1 week after completion by attending any of our weekly classes offered at the studio.
No casual attendance is permitted during this course.

Sacred Women Breathing Space: $28.15

Join our circle of Awakening Women: A space to Be, Meditate and Heal

We are beings of infinite intuitive intelligence but we often block our own innate wisdom and act in ways that are incongruent with our Spirit or Souls guidance. Join us each month in our Sacred Women’s Circle where you will gain clarity of your higher truths to become congruent with the divine being you truly are.

Once per month on a Tuesday evening Carrie Faggotter facilitates a healing workshop or invites a guest presenter to lead the circle of women to empower their feminine side. Information leading up every event is announced ahead of time and can be sourced from the schedule below or on Face Book.

Restorative Yoga Class: $25

Restorative yoga is a delicious way to relax and soothe frayed nerves. Restorative classes use bolsters, blankets, and blocks to prop students into passive poses so the body can experience the benefits of a pose without having to exert any effort. A restorative class is more rejuvenating than a nap and held 4 times per year on a Friday night, when just about everyone could use some profound rest.

Hanna Somatic Workshop (2.5 hrs): with Jo Bentley
Fee: $60 (1x session) / $108 (2 x sessions)

This workshop is a safe, gentle and common sense approach to eliminating chronic muscle pain and improving movement.  Scientifically-based on the sensory motor nervous system where most chronic muscle pain develops, these workshops help you to restore full nervous system control of both muscles and movement. These 2.5 hour workshops are given with a focus on either the upper or lower body, with allocated time set aside for discussions in a group or individually.

  • Long term pain relief from many common muscle pain conditions.
  • Lifelong skills that teach you how to regain voluntary control of habitually tight muscles.
  • Greater physical independence and mastery of your movement.
  • Increased flexibility, energy, coordination, balance and proprioception.
